Dr. Ryan Vogel received his medical degree from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in recognition of his high academic achievement. Prior to this, he graduated with highest honors from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science.
Dr. Vogel completed his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he was the recipient of numerous research awards. Following this, Dr. Vogel completed a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Vogel is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. He has authored several articles in peer-reviewed ophthalmology journals on topics that include age related macular degeneration, central serous chorioretinopathy, and retinopathy of prematurity.
Dr. Vogel joined Retina & Vitreous Consultants of WI in 2019 with an interest in the medical and surgical treatment of macular diseases and enjoys practicing in his home town of Milwaukee. Dr. Vogel is committed to providing patients with the highest quality of care that all physicians of Retina & Vitreous Consultants of WI provide to their patients, as well as coordinating care with his patientsí referring doctors.
